An attempted robbery occurred in the 200 block of South Bonnie Brae Street on Thursday morning.
Two men, dressed all in black, punched a 24-year-old Fort Worth man multiple times while attempting to steal his money in the parking lot of an apartment complex shortly before 2 a.m. Thursday.
Denton police spokesman Officer Ryan Grelle said no money was taken.
After the incident, reports show the two men left on foot toward the back of the complex. Officers searched the area upon arrival and were not able to find the men or any witnesses.
The Fort Worth man refused medical treatment.
5200 block of Hopkins Road — Wagon wheels were removed from a Denton County resident’s yard Thursday afternoon, according to the Denton County Sheriff’s Office.
According to reports, the wheels were valued at more than $5,000.
800 block of Frame Street — Denton police responded to a burglary call at a storage unit at about 3 p.m. Thursday.
According to reports, a 25-year-old Garland resident reported someone had cut the lock off his storage unit and taken several items that were inside. The value of the missing items was not listed.
15300 block of FM455 — A Denton County man reported he was deceived by an online company Wednesday.
The man told sheriff’s deputies that he shipped his gold putter to the company for repair. He was charged for the service on his PayPal account but has not yet received his putter, he told authorities.

Justin firefighters responded to two medical calls and one structure fire. Justin police assisted one agency and responded to one criminal mischief report and 13 traffic calls.
Krum firefighters responded to two medical calls. Krum police responded to one reckless driver, two welfare concerns, nine traffic calls and one animal complaint.
Lake Cities firefighters responded to one animal attack, one structure fire, two medical calls and two traffic transport incidents.
Little Elm firefighters responded to one traffic transport incident and nine medical calls. Little Elm police made one arrest and responded to one medical call, one narcotics call, two suspicious activity calls, one theft, 17 traffic calls, two welfare concerns, two traffic transport incidents and one animal complaint.
