A 50-year-old Aubrey resident recently told Denton police he was assaulted by an individual who threw a brick at his head in the 1600 block of Oak Street. The man suffered a serious bodily injury, according to the reports. No charges have been filed.
1300 block of West Eagle Drive — According to police reports, an 18-year-old man was found to have a detectable amount of alcohol in his system at 2:18 a.m. Thursday during a traffic stop. In addition, police said the teen was in possession of marijuana. He was charged and booked with driving under the influence as a minor and possession of marijuana under 2 ounces, reports show.
4900 block of Stuart Road — Medical supplies were reported missing from a Denton County woman’s home Wednesday morning, according to sheriff’s deputies. The missing items were valued at more than $50, reports show.

Bartonville police responded to five traffic calls and one criminal mischief call.
Corinth police assisted two agencies and responded to one deadly conduct call, three suspicious activity calls, 47 traffic calls, six traffic complaints, two medical calls, five suspicious activity calls, one missing person report, seven animal complaints and three traffic transport calls.
Double Oak police assisted one motorist and responded to 11 traffic calls, one intoxicated person and two suspicious activity calls.
Hickory Creek police responded to 55 traffic calls, one traffic complaint and five traffic accidents.
Justin firefighters responded to four medical calls and one traffic accident.
Krum firefighters responded to three medical calls, one grass fire and one odor investigation. Krum police responded to one noise complaint, 11 traffic calls, one traffic accident, three animal complaints and one medical call.
Lake Cities firefighters assisted one citizen and responded to nine medical calls and two traffic accidents.
Little Elm firefighters assisted one citizen and responded to five medical calls and three traffic accidents. Little Elm police assisted two agencies and one motorist and responded to one disorderly conduct call, one noise complaint, 12 ordinance violations, 29 traffic calls, one Child Protective Services referral, four welfare concerns and four traffic accidents.
Northeast police assisted two agencies and one motorist and responded to 22 traffic calls, one theft and one traffic complaint.
