Blotter: Woman reports assault

A 31-year-old woman reported that she was the victim of family violence while sitting in a car in the 1600 block of Scripture Street on Tuesday morning.

Police reported that the woman said she was in the car with her baby’s father when they got into an argument.

She told police the argument escalated and she was punched in the face. While she was trying to get out of the vehicle, she was scratched by the man, reports show. A report of assault family violence was taken and submitted, police said.

2200 block of Gregory Creek Drive A set of drums was reported missing Monday afternoon, county officials said.

Shortly after noon Monday, a man reported his drum kit was removed from the back of his truck while it was parked at his home overnight. The value of the drums was not listed.

6300 block of North Bob White Way A woman had $300 cash taken from her purse recently, according to Denton County Sheriff’s Office reports.

The woman, reports show, claimed a friend of her son took the money without her permission Monday afternoon.

Corinth police assisted one agency and responded to one loose livestock call, two welfare concern calls, 23 traffic calls, one reckless boater call, four suspicious activity calls, five animal complaints and one traffic accident and assisted one agency and one motorist.

Double Oak police responded to eight traffic calls and one illegal dumping call.

Flower Mound firefighters responded to one structure fire.

Hickory Creek police assisted three agencies and responded to nine traffic calls and one traffic accident.

Justin firefighters responded to one medical call. Justin police responded to one suspicious activity call, four traffic calls and one traffic transport incident.

Krum firefighters responded to one medical call and one carbon monoxide or hazardous materials call. Krum police assisted one agency and responded to one burglary and six traffic calls.

Lake Cities firefighters responded to two medical calls and one traffic accident.

Lewisville police made 12 arrests.

Little Elm firefighters responded to two medical calls and one traffic accident. Little Elm police assisted two agencies and responded to one assault, two Child Protective Services referrals, two missing person reports, one noise complaint, two reckless driver calls, one traffic complaint, 19 traffic calls, four traffic accidents, and one animal complaint and assisted two motorists.

Northeast police assisted one agency and responded to one ordinance violation, one suspicious activity call, one theft, 16 traffic calls, one traffic accident and one traffic complaint.

Northlake police assisted one agency and one motorist and responded to one reckless driver and seven traffic calls.

Oak Point firefighters responded to one traffic accident. Oak Point police responded to four ordinance violations, one suspicious activity call, five traffic calls, one vehicle complaint, one traffic accident and one traffic complaint.

Ponder firefighters responded to one structure fire. Ponder police responded to two ordinance violations and two traffic calls.

Pilot Point firefighters responded to one medical call, one structure fire and one traffic accident. Pilot Point police responded to one criminal mischief call, four suspicious activity calls, one traffic call and one traffic transport.

Roanoke firefighters responded to one structure fire.

Sanger firefighters responded to one medical call. Sanger police assisted one agency and responded to one burglary, three suspicious activity calls, two traffic calls, one traffic complaint and two animal complaints.

The Colony firefighters responded to eight medical calls.

Trophy Club firefighters responded to one medical call. Trophy Club police responded to one noise complaint, one theft, one criminal trespass call, one criminal mischief call and three animal complaints.
