Blotter: Police make arrest after call on public intoxication

Police dispatched to the 200 block of South Bonnie Brae Street at 11:46 p.m. Monday in reference to a public intoxication call found a man passed out in the bed of a pickup, according to a police report.

After determining that the 33-year-old Denton man was intoxicated, officers took him to city jail, where he was charged with public intoxication with three prior convictions, the report stated.

2000 block of Briar Hill Road — A man told Denton County Sheriff Office deputies early Monday that someone had entered his storage building and took several pieces of lawn equipment.

The value of the items was not listed.

Officials said there were no signs of forced entry.

Corinth police assisted eight agencies and responded to one deadly conduct call, one disturbance call, one report of gunshots, one ordinance violation, one suspicious activity call, 18 traffic calls, one medical call, one welfare concern, two traffic accidents and six animal complaints.

Double Oak police responded to seven traffic calls.

Hickory Creek police assisted two agencies and two motorists and responded to one criminal trespass call, 13 traffic calls, one traffic complaint and one traffic accident.

Justin firefighters responded to one illegal burn and one medical call. Justin police responded to two traffic calls and one animal complaint.

Krum firefighters responded to two medical calls and one traffic accident. Krum police responded to one harassment call, one reckless boater and one traffic call.

Lake Cities firefighters responded to six medical calls, one electrical fire and two traffic accidents.

Little Elm firefighters responded to one grass fire, one structure fire, two medical calls and one traffic accident. Little Elm police assisted one agency and one motorist and responded to one assault, one Child Protective Services referral, one criminal mischief call, one criminal trespass call, one narcotics call, four ordinance violations, one suspicious activity call, one terroristic threat, two thefts, 22 traffic calls, one traffic complaint, two welfare concerns and three traffic accidents.

Northeast police responded to one ordinance violation, one traffic complaint, one animal complaint and 26 traffic calls.

Northlake police responded to one suspicious activity call and 39 traffic calls.

Oak Point firefighters assisted one citizen and responded to one medical call. Oak Point police responded to one burglary, one disturbance call, one fireworks complaint, one reckless driver, two traffic calls and one traffic complaint.

Ponder firefighters responded to two medical calls and one traffic accident.

Pilot Point firefighters responded to two medical calls. Pilot Point police responded to two disturbance calls, one forgery report, one suspicious activity call, one theft, eight traffic calls and assisted one motorist and one boater.

Sanger firefighters responded to one grass fire, one vehicle fire and two medical calls. Sanger police responded to one disturbance call, six reckless drivers, one theft, nine traffic calls and one traffic complaint.

Trophy Club police responded to 14 ordinance violations, two suspicious activity calls, one forgery report, four traffic calls, one traffic complaint and one animal complaint.
