11 to 11:45 a.m. - Santa Story Time at Emily Fowler Library, 502 Oakland St. Stories, songs, puppets and more for children ages 1-5 and their caregivers. Bring your camera to take pictures with Santa at the end of the program. Free. Call 940-349-8752 or visit www.dentonlibrary.com .

12:15 to 1 p.m. - Denton County Museums plays host to the 10th annual community sing-along in the Commissioners Courtroom at the Courthouse on the Square, 110 W. Hickory St. Free.

SATURDAY

 

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Denton Humane Society's Santa Paws poses with pets at Calloway's Nursery, 1601 Dallas Drive. Cost is $10 for one 5x7-inch photo, $15 for two. Proceeds benefit the society's rescue program. Call 940-382-PETS.

11 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Holiday Drop 'n' Shop at the Denton Civic Center, 321 E. McKinney St. Parents can sneak away while kids ages 3-12 enjoy a candy cane hunt, a holiday craft, bounce house fun and a movie. Hot chocolate and a snack will be provided. Cost is $15 per child. Children must be potty-trained. Register by Thursday by visiting www.dentonparks.com or by calling 940-349-8575.

1:30 to 2:30 p.m. - Bayless-Selby House Museum's Holiday Musicale performance features music by Aubrey flutist Corinne Mears. At the museum, 317 W. Mulberry St. Free. Call 940-349-2865 or visit www.dentoncounty.com/bsh .

  • Make sure "Preserve Favorites website data" is unchecked.
  • Make sure "InPrivate Filtering data" is checked.
  • Click the "Delete" button.
  • Click the "OK" button to exit the Internet Options window.
  • Refresh the page.
