Oklahoma Baptist University awarded academic scholarships to two local students. LaNeisha Hudspeth and Kimberly Robinson received President’s Academic Scholarships, worth $7,000 and renewable for three additional years.

A senior at Denton High School, Hudspeth is a member of the varsity basketball team and National Honor Society. She plans to pursue a degree in secondary mathematics education. She is the daughter of Gerard and Diane Hudspeth. She is a member of Inspiring Body of Christ.

A senior at Krum High School, Robinson plans to pursue a degree in communications. She is the daughter of James and Kathy Robinson. She is a member of North Hills Baptist Church.
