UNT Sky Theater open Saturdays this month
Each Saturday in October, UNT’s Sky Theater will present Bad Astronomy, a film exploring pseudoscience, myths and misconceptions about space and the solar system that’s geared toward audiences from fifth grade and up.
Topics explored in the film include theories that the Apollo visits to the moon were fake, aliens landing on earth and reading the future by the stars.
“Bad Astronomy” shows at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. each Saturday through the month.
Admission (cash only) is $3 for students, $4 for seniors and $5 for adults.
The Sky Theater’s Saturday children’s matinee through October is ExoPlanets: World of Wonder. The program begins at noon, and admission is $3 per person, cash only.
