Members of the Pilot Point FFA brought home several awards from the Texas FFA Association’s 2012 Degree Check, according to school officials.
Britt Larson and Thomas Glascock were named Star finalists in the placement and production categories, respectively.
The following members earned Proficiency Awards: Tyler Hardin, swine production placement; Matthew Boerner, diversified grain production placement; Will Braack, fruit production placement; Brady Ewton, equine entrepreneurship; Britt Larson, diversified livestock production placement; and Thomas Glascock, beef entrepreneurship and diversified agriculture entrepreneurship.
Lone Star Degree winners were Brayson Pope, Michaela Vincent, Haley Evans, Lakyn Griffin, Beau Ewton, Austin Trinklein, Daisy Balderas, Britt Larson, Thomas Glascock, Kayla Moore, and Carroll and Callie Barrett.
The winners will be recognized and receive their awards and certificates during the state FFA convention set for July 9 through July 13 in Corpus Christi.
