Denton Police are looking for a man, believed to be in his early 40s, in connection with an aggravated robbery outside the bookstore at Golden Triangle Mall.
The man, a white male about 6 feet tall, approached another man about 3:45 p.m. Sunday, according to the police report. As the victim was entering his vehicle, the suspect pulled a black, semi-automatic handgun. The victim complied when the suspect demanded that he hand over his keys and wallet.
The victim did not know which direction the suspect escaped, according to the police report. The victim’s credit cards were later used at Hickory Creek and Lake Dallas gas stations.
The suspect was reported to be wearing a light blue shirt and khaki pants. He is of medium build and has short, dirty blond hair. The suspect also was reported to be carrying a notebook in his left hand to conceal the weapon during the offense.
