Dallas County law enforcement officials secure the area after the driver of a big-rig truck led authorities on a high-speed chase from Dallas to Denton along Interstate 35E on Tuesday afternoon. The chase ended when the driver exited the truck onto Kendolph Street in Denton after the front tires were blown by a spike strip. The truck and its trailer were originally reported stolen from the Flying J Travel Plaza at Interstate 20 and Bonnie View Road in southeast Oak Cliff. The trailer was ditched three miles away and the driver kept going. The driver was arrested and taken back to Dallas. No injuries were reported, and no other details were made available.
