Denton police were dispatched to a disturbance in the 1800 block of Bolivar Street at about 9 a.m. Wednesday and found two bounty hunters waiting outside a door.
The men said they were hired by a bail bond company to find a man who failed to appear for a court date in another county and showed their credentials, according to a police report.
The bounty hunters said they had traced the man to the Denton home. They said they knocked on the door and asked for the man, but three people refused to let them in and became increasingly aggressive.
One bounty hunter said he showed them a stun gun he was carrying but did not use it, opting to wait until police arrived, according to the report.
