City, school, county, state and federal office will be closed Monday in honor of Labor Day.
Mail will not be delivered.
In Denton, the garbage collection schedule this week will be moved back one day. The city of Denton landfill will be open from 7 a.m. to noon.
Denton’s libraries and recreation centers will be closed, but Civic Center Pool will be open from noon to 6 p.m. and Water Works Park will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Denton Record-Chronicle offices will be closed.
