Someone made off with a laptop while a homeowner took a shower Wednesday, the man reported to police.

Officers responded to a burglary call in the 2400 block of Denison Street, where a man reported the laptop as stolen.

The man said he resides at the home with two roommates and the night before another person stayed the night. The man said he woke up at about 11:30 a.m. to take a shower and was the only one at home. He said that while he was in the shower, he heard the side door of the house open.

The door is usually locked but the man suspected the person who stayed overnight may have left it unlocked, the report states.

When he got out of the shower, he noticed a laptop that was sitting next to the TV and within 10 feet of the side door was gone.

The side door was left open. The laptop belongs to one of his roommates, the report said.

Other report

900 block of Fort Worth Drive — A convenience store clerk reported to police that a man entered the store, grabbed two 18-packs of beer and a 24-pack of beer and walked out without paying.
