A vehicle struck a 14-year-old girl and her 17-year-old sister at Kings Row and Wellington Street shortly before 8:30 a.m. Friday.
The older sister was taken by ambulance to Denton Regional Medical Center with minor injuries and the younger sister was airlifted to Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, said Denton police officer Orlando Hinojosa.
The younger girl’s injuries were not life-threatening, Hinojosa said.
Police are investigating the accident, Hinojosa said.
