Police continue their search for two suspects they believe are connected with four recent aggravated robberies in multiple apartment complexes in Denton.
In each instance the suspects have targeted people in apartment complex parking lots while they were alone, seated in their vehicles, or walking in the parking lot.
The robberies occurred at the Uptown Apartments, 2601 W. Oak St; County Place Apartments, 201 Coronado Drive, the University Courtyard Apartments, 200 S. Bonnie Brae St and the Studio Place Apartments, 1900 Sam Bass Road.
The suspects also have been spotted loitering at the Westwind Apartments, 1710 Sam Bass Blvd. People are urged to be aware of their surroundings while walking through apartment complexes or while exiting or approaching vehicles.
One suspect is described as a black male age 20 to 25, about 6-feet tall, thin, short hair, clean shaven.
The second is described as a black male, age 20 to 25, 5-foot-9 to 6-feet tall, heavy-set or thick build, short hair, a pudgy face and clean shaven.
Police have released a composite sketch of the first suspect.
Their vehicle is described as a compact SUV, possibly a “crossover” style SUV,silver, gray or light gold in color, similar in style to a GMC Envoy, dark tintedwindows, shiny large aftermarket rims and bright LED headlights
The Denton Police Department requests that citizens report any suspicious activity involving people or vehicle matching the description below to 940-349 8181.
The suspects should be considered armed.
