An 18-wheeler flipped on its side early Wednesday morning, closing a portion of Interstate 35E for several hours.
There were no injuries, said Officer Ryan Grelle, spokesman for the Denton Police Department.
Around 5:40 a.m., the 18-wheeler flipped on North Interstate 35E just north of the Dallas Drive bridge, he said. No other cars were involved in the accident, Grelle said. The highway reopened about noon.
The highway was shut down for a short time. The exit to Dallas Drive is also shut down, he said.
“We’ve just opened up the outside lane,” Grelle said at about 7:30 a.m.
