The Denton County Transportation Authority will offer veterans and active military personnel free rides on its trains and buses today and Monday. People need only to show their military identification to participate.

“We recognize the important role public transportation plays in getting veterans to work, to medical facilities and educational institutions,” said Jim Cline, DCTA president, in a news release. “DCTA looks forward to continuing to serve our veterans and is proud to honor them during this important holiday.”
