Blotter: Man reports theft of four-wheeler

A 35-year-old man reported the theft of a four-wheeler from a trailer parked in front of a business in the 1000 block of West University Drive at about 9:30 p.m. Friday night, according to a police report.

Responding officers found that someone had cut the tie-down restraints securing the four-wheeler so it could be removed from the trailer, the report stated.


Other reports

5300 block of FM2449 — An electric company reported Friday morning that someone cut a barbed-wire fence and vandalized a substation.

The company also reported that four feet of chain-link security fence was removed from the substation site and an unknown amount of aluminum wiring and construction material was taken, police said.

From 7 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, to 7 a.m. Saturday:

- Texas Woman’s University police had 70 calls for service, took four reports, issued one parking violation, issued 40 moving violations and made six arrests.

From Sunday, Dec. 16, to Monday, Dec. 17:

- University of North Texas police made four arrests, filed two property reports, responded to one incident and assisted two agencies with a K-9.
