Through Dec. 31 — Model train exhibit at the Wood House, 516 N. Locust St. Admission is a donation of canned goods for Denton County Friends of the Family. Display features trains and more than 200 miniature buildings. Regular hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Through Jan. 1 — Lone Star Christmas at the Gaylord Texan, 1501 Gaylord Trail in Grapevine, includes decorations, a life-size gingerbread house, 1.5 million pounds of snow and the “Ice” exhibit, which features characters from Merry Madagascar. Exhibit hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Admission to “Ice” is $21.95-$26.95 for adults, $19.95-$23.95 for seniors 55 and older, $11.95-$14.95 for kids 4-12 and free for ages 3 and younger. Regular parking costs $12-$17.
