A man called the police at 11:11 a.m. Saturday to say that his neighbor was harassing him by throwing dog droppings in his backyard.
A Denton police officer was dispatched to the 300 block of North Ruddell Street in reference to the call. The man told the officer that he’s harassed by his neighbor constantly.
The officer completed a report for information only and contacted the city’s animal control department about the incident.
Animal control officers responded and issued a citation, according to a police report.
4200 block of Interstate 35 — A man told police that two women he invited to his hotel room stole his money, according to a police report.
The man called police, and an officer was dispatched to his location at about 12:50 a.m. Saturday. The man told the officer that his money was stolen, accusing the two women whom he had invited into his room.
He told the officer that he met the women that night, according to the police report. The man accused the women of taking money and leaving the room without his knowledge.
The officer did not locate the women.
According to the police report, the officer saw drug paraphernalia in plain view from the open hotel door.
The caller was arrested on narcotics possession charges after an investigation.
