The Denton City Council will have a public hearing on rewrites of the city’s gas well drilling and production ordinance on Jan. 15.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 215 E. McKinney St., and public testimony will be taken after a presentation on the changes.
Copies of the rewrites are available online at cityofdenton.com/gaswellinspections, at City Hall West, 221 N. Elm St., or at any of the three library branches: Emily Fowler Central Library, 502 Oakland St.; North Branch Library, 3020 N. Locust St.; and South Branch Library, 3228 Teasley Lane.
