A contractor will close portions of McKinney Street between Bell Avenue and Bolivar Streets beginning Thursday.
The work crews will be repairing concrete sections of the street as weather permits.
Detour routes will be provided as lanes will not be fully blocked and entrances to businesses will still be open.
The work is expected to be finished by Feb. 13.
