A woman reported her father missing Saturday and told police she believed his caregiver was holding him against his will. However, the father was found about four hours later in good condition, according to a police report.
The woman spoke to officers at the Denton Police Station at 3:48 p.m. She told them that her father, 81, was in the hospital, but officials at the hospital told her that he was checked out.
According to the police report, the woman and other family members and friends did not know the father’s whereabouts. The woman told police that she believed that her father’s caregiver had moved him without telling anyone.
The police report did not state where the father was found.

An officer was dispatched to the scene and found the suspect. During the investigation, the officer also found drug paraphernalia on the suspect and arrested him for possession.
3200 block of Teasley Lane — On Saturday, police arrested a man for drug possession and tampering with physical evidence.
The man was arrested at about noon in the parking lot of a pharmacy.
A police officer reported that he saw the suspect and another man sitting in a car, and they were acting suspiciously and avoiding his gaze. The officer checked the vehicle’s license plate number and it returned with a warrant hit for one of the men.
At the city jail, officers noticed the man was wearing a pain medication patch on his shoulder. The man did not have a prescription for the medication, and he attempted to conceal it in his underwear, according to the police report. Officers took the patch and the case was closed by arrest.
