In Denton, all libraries and recreation centers will be closed and will resume regular hours Tuesday, except the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center, which will open at 5 p.m. for the celebration honoring its namesake.
There will be no curbside trash, recycling or yard waste collection Monday. Monday’s route will be collected Tuesday, Tuesday’s route will be collected Wednesday, Wednesday’s route will be collected Thursday, and Thursday’s route will be collected Friday.

Denton utilities customer service will be closed Monday and resume normal business hours Tuesday. To report a utility emergency, call utilities dispatch at 940-349-7000.
The Denton Airport administrative offices will be closed Monday and will resume normal business hours Tuesday. The air traffic control tower will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, and the airfield will remain open 24 hours per day. Flight services will be available from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday.
