DCTA installs vending machine at Trinity Mills

Comments () A Text Size

A new Denton County Transportation Authority ticket vending machine has been installed at the south end of the Trinity Mills station platform.

Previously, passengers only had the option of purchasing Dallas Area Rapid Transit regional passes for A-train trips.

Trips on the A-train between Trinity Mills station and the Downtown Denton Station are considered part of DCTA Local System trips. Regional passes are appropriate when passengers need to utilize both DART and DCTA.

The fee for a Local System Day Pass is $6 and allows a passenger to travel on the A-train, as well as DCTA’s fixed-route bus services in Lewisville and Denton. People age 65 and over, Medicare card holders and students ages 5 to 18 are eligible for Reduced Local System day passes for $2.50 each.
