The Denton High School Fillies dance team will conduct its annual spring dance clinic from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 23.
The Junior Fillies dance clinic is open to girls from age 3 to eighth grade and will feature instruction from Fillies sponsor Kerri Burgess and members of the award-winning dance team. Participants will learn dances, play games and prepare for a special routine to perform with the dance team at its annual spring showcase, Fillies Follies.
Registration fee is $25 before Monday, and includes the clinic, snacks and a Fillies T-shirt. Checks can be made out to Denton High School Fillies and mailed to 1007 Fulton St., Denton, TX 76210, to the attention of Burgess.
On-site registration the day of the clinic will cost $28 and will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Participants should dress comfortably, wear sneakers and come ready to dance.
