University of North Texas Greek Life organizations are gathering supplies to take to West. Organizations are asking for donations of toilet paper, bottled water and clothes. A truck will be sent out at about 3 p.m. today. To donate, call 817-713-6761.

Carter Blood Care at 2215 S. Loop 288, Suite 335, in Denton is accepting blood donations.

Community blood drives are also planned. For more information, call 940-383-5923.

•  11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at UNT on the east side of the University Union.

•  11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Texas Woman’s University in the visitor parking lot at Bell Avenue and Administration Drive.

The Denton County Republican Party has established an account where people can donate money to the relief effort. Visit www.gofundme.com/2mqsvo.

The Jim McNatt Auto Group dealerships, 4100 S. Interstate 35E, are collecting nonperishable food. Officials plan to take a trailer load of goods as soon as it is full.

The American Eagle Harley-Davidson dealership at 5920 I-35E in Corinth is accepting relief donations from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. Items being accepted include pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, blankets, sheets, jackets, shower curtains, can openers, canned and dry foods, socks, water, gift cards, dog and cat food, toothpaste, toothbrushes and other necessities. All items will be brought to West and distributed to a local church.

Pointwest Bank in West has opened a fund for victims of the explosion. Donations can be made at www.pointwestbank.com. Call 254-826-5333.

A fund for Scott Burgess, his family, friends and neighbors in West has been set up at NorthStar Bank of Texas. Contributions can be made under the name Scott Burgess at the Denton location, 400 N. Carroll Blvd. The bank’s phone number is 940-591-1200.
