The Little Elm school board has rescheduled its special meeting to interview prospective school board candidates for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting, originally slated for Monday, will still take place in the workshop room at King Early Learning Academy at 101 Main St. in Little Elm.
The board is looking to appoint someone to an unexpired term left vacant June 3, by Place 4 trustee Bill Hidell, who resigned from the board. One year remains unfinished in Hidell’s term, according to a district official.
Anyone interested in filling the vacant school board seat must meet qualifications per board policy and are encouraged to contact Superintendent Lynne Leuthard, according to district officials. Prospective board members are also encouraged to bring a current resume to Tuesday’s meeting.
