Travelers Insurance is offering up to a $2,500 award that leads to the safe recovery of several flat-screen televisions that were taken from a trailer in Carrollton recently.

Carrollton police started their investigation of the missing LED flat screens when a tractor-trailer loaded with 39-, 60- and 65-inch televisions was reported taken from the 1600 block of Vantage Drive on June 29.

Police said Monday the missing tractor-trailer was recovered on Joel East Road in Forth Worth, but it was empty.

The missing televisions’ combined value is $100,000, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact Travelers Insurance at 1-800-233-8313.
