Denton police officers are investigating a theft at a store in the 500 block of West University Drive on Sunday.
The manager called police to report the theft and that a woman fled the location thereafter.
He gave police a description of the suspect, who he said assaulted him, according to the report.
5300 block of East McKinney Street — A woman reported Sunday that she and her brother were in an argument over rent when the two became engaged in an altercation.
The woman said her brother grabbed her by the neck and pushed her.
The brother left prior to the officer’s arrival, according to the report.
600 block of Ridgecrest Circle — Officers responded to a burglary call at a home Sunday.
Upon arrival, the victim told officers a bedroom window covered by sheet rock was kicked in and shattered.
Officers checked the building and found no one and nothing was reported taken.

Argyle firefighters responded to seven medical calls, one grass fire, one smoke investigation, one road blockage and one traffic transport incident.
Aubrey firefighters responded to a carbon monoxide alarm, five medical calls, one assault, one electrical fire, one grass fire, three structure fires, two vehicle fires and three vehicle unlocks. Aubrey police responded to 69 traffic calls and four fireworks complaints.
Bartonville police responded to 16 traffic calls and one loose livestock call.
Corinth police responded five fireworks complaints, five motorist assist calls and two noise complaints.
Double Oak firefighters responded to one medical call. Double Oak police responded to one fireworks complaint, one suspicious person and one report of an open door.
Hickory Creek police responded to six reports of suspicious persons, one report of a theft in progress and one reckless driver.
Justin firefighters responded to seven medical calls, four grass fires, one illegal burn, one smoke investigation, one traffic transport incident and one vehicle unlock.
Krum firefighters responded to six medical calls, one assault, four grass fires, two structure fires and one traffic transport incident. Krum police responded to 10 ordinance violations, two reports of a suspicious person and two fireworks complaints.
