A disturbance call ended in arrest Monday night in the 400 block of Forth Worth Drive, Denton police said.
Officers responded to a disturbance call after 8 p.m. involving a 37-year-old man and a married couple. Reports show during the altercation, the 37-year-old displayed a pocket knife and began swinging it at the couple.
Police arrived and stopped the man as he was leaving the scene, they said. The man was arrested in connection with that incident and also charged using illegal narcotics.
Records show he also had two outstanding warrants; one for solicitation or distribution without a permit and one for alcohol public intoxication.
Reports don’t have the two married couple listed as injured.
