A nap in a hospital parking lot led to a citation for a Denton man on Sunday.

According to a police report, an officer saw a man sleeping in a vehicle in the parking lot of a local hospital and when she checked on him, the officer noticed a black, shiny pouch in the vehicle’s open center console.

The officer believed the bag contained K2 or a K2-like substance and confiscated the pouch, the report stated. After confirming that the substance was K2, the officer issued the man a citation for a city ordinance violation.
