Blotter: Police seek public’s help in vehicle incidents

Lewisville police are investigating several criminal mischief incidents reported Friday night at two apartment complexes.

Residents of the apartments, located in the 2100 block of Uecker Lane, reported 22 slashed tires, one broken windshield and one car with scratched paint, Capt. Jay Powell stated in an e-mail.

Anyone with information about the crimes should contact the police department’s crime tip line at 972- 219-8477.

2000 block of Colorado Boulevard — A 28-year-old woman told police she was assaulted by her boyfriend at about 6 a.m. Monday, according to a Denton police report.

12200 block of FM1173 — On Sunday afternoon, Denton County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a theft at a church. According to reports, someone removed a generator.

 

1400 block of Palestine Drive — A man reported that someone broke into his truck Saturday morning and took a weapon, according to Denton County Sheriff’s Office reports.

From 7 a.m. Monday to 7 a.m. Tuesday:

Denton police responded to 261 service and officer-initiated calls and posted 20 reports online.

Denton firefighters responded to 20 medical calls, one gas leak, one gasoline or other flammable liquid spill, one fire, one vehicle accident with injuries and two public service calls.

From 7 a.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Tuesday:

Denton County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers handled 3,119 service and officer-initiated calls for the agencies they serve. A total of 133 people were booked into Denton County Jail.

Argyle firefighters responded to three alarm calls, one roadblock, one water main break and 10 medical calls and assisted two citizens. Argyle police assisted three agencies and responded to 22 traffic calls, one ordinance violation, two roadblocks, two suspicious activity calls, one traffic incident and one report of loose livestock.

Aubrey firefighters responded to one vehicle fire, one chemical fire, 19 medical calls, one traffic call, one traffic incident and one animal bite attack. Aubrey police assisted one agency and responded to two disturbance calls, one narcotics call, two noise complaints, one roadblock, one suspicious activity call, 49 traffic calls, two traffic complaints, one burglary report and one welfare concern.

Bartonville police assisted five agencies and responded to 12 traffic calls and one animal complaint.

Corinth police assisted five agencies and four motorists and responded to one structure fire, one report of loose livestock, one missing person, two noise complaints, one reckless driver, three medical calls, two roadblocks, two thefts, 79 traffic calls, four traffic incidents, one traffic complaint, one carbon monoxide or hazardous materials call, one Child Protective Services referral, two domestic disturbance calls, three harassment reports, one report of a person with a gun, two prowlers, three suspicious activity calls and 21 animal complaints.

Double Oak firefighters assisted one citizen and responded to one medical call. Double Oak police responded to one forgery call, one theft report, seven traffic calls, one traffic incident, one disturbance call and one animal complaint and assisted two agencies and one citizen.

Flower Mound firefighters responded to one illegal dumping, one grass fire and one structure fire.

Hickory Creek police assisted six motorists and two agencies and responded to one robbery, 43 traffic calls, two suspicious vehicles, one suspicious person, two noise complaints, one theft, one welfare concern, one traffic incident and two animal complaints.

Highland Village firefighters responded to two structure fires.

Justin firefighters responded to one fight in progress, one animal bite attack and two medical calls. Justin police responded to six traffic calls, one fire, one missing person, one reckless driver, two suspicious activity calls, one report of loose livestock and one animal complaint and assisted four agencies.

Krum firefighters responded to one smoke investigation, one unknown fire, one fight in progress, two medical calls and one traffic incident. Krum police responded to one harassment report, 21 traffic calls, two suspicious activity calls, one criminal mischief report, one structure fire, seven animal complaints, one traffic incident, one forgery call and one narcotics call and assisted four agencies.

Lake Cities firefighters responded to 14 medical calls, one carbon monoxide or hazardous materials call, one structure fire, four traffic incidents, one grass fire, one smoke investigation and one structure fire and assisted two citizens.

Little Elm firefighters responded to two structure fires, nine medical calls, one assault or sexual assault, one traffic incident, one carbon monoxide or hazardous materials call, two illegal burns and one grass fire and unlocked one vehicle. Little Elm police assisted three agencies and five motorists and responded to three assaults, three auto thefts, seven ordinance violations, six reckless drivers, nine traffic incidents, seven animal complaints, nine suspicious activity calls, 54 traffic calls, one burglary, five criminal mischief reports, one report of loose livestock, four missing persons, seven ordinance violations, one medical call, seven disturbance calls, two forgery reports, one harassment call, three roadblocks, two thefts, one traffic complaint and four welfare concerns.

Lewisville firefighters responded to two structure fires. Lewisville police responded to one civil service call.

Northlake police assisted seven agencies and one motorist and responded to one criminal trespass in progress, one reckless driver, one roadblock, 23 traffic calls, one domestic disturbance, one report of loose livestock, one theft, one traffic incident and 106 traffic calls.

Oak Point firefighters responded to one vehicle fire and two medical calls. Oak Point police responded to one forgery call, one ordinance violation, one suspicious activity call, one report of a terroristic threat, 10 traffic calls, one fireworks complaint, one noise complaint, one reckless driver, two traffic incidents, one medical call and one welfare concern.

Ponder firefighters responded to one structure fire and one fight in progress. Ponder police assisted three agencies and responded to one fight, one report of gunshots heard, one reckless driver, one suspicious vehicle and 10 traffic calls.

Pilot Point firefighters responded to one medical call and one traffic incident. Pilot Point police assisted two agencies and two motorists and responded to one medical call, one domestic disturbance call, two welfare concerns, five suspicious activity calls, two traffic incidents and 10 traffic calls.

Roanoke firefighters responded to one assault or sexual assault, one roadblock and one animal bite attack.

Sanger firefighters assisted one citizen and responded to one animal bite attack, one vehicle fire, two traffic incidents, two structure fires, nine medical calls and one smoke investigation. Sanger police responded to one intoxicated person, one burglary, one criminal trespass report, three disturbance calls, one fight in progress, one narcotics call, four roadblocks, one medical call, four suspicious activity calls, three thefts, two welfare concerns, 11 traffic calls, three reckless drivers, one animal bite attack, four animal complaints and one traffic incident.

Trophy Club firefighters responded to one burn call and three medical calls. Trophy Club police assisted three agencies and five motorists and responded to one criminal trespass report, one harassment report, two illegal dumping calls, one missing person report, three noise complaints, 21 ordinance violations, one medical call, eight suspicious activity calls, 24 traffic calls, four burglary reports, one disturbance call, five welfare concerns, 14 animal complaints and one theft report.
