TWU to have graduation ceremonies Dec. 13-14

Texas Woman’s University will have its commencement ceremonies for fall graduates on Dec. 13-14.

An estimated 817 undergraduate students and 724 graduate students from TWU campuses in Denton, Dallas and Houston will be participating in the ceremony at Kitty Magee Arena in Pioneer Hall, 1600 N. Bell Ave.

Outgoing Chancellor and President Ann Stuart, who is retiring next year, will deliver the commencement address for all four ceremonies. Students and family members must have tickets to attend the ceremonies.

Stuart will have a reception for the graduates after each ceremony.

The first commencement ceremony will be at 9 a.m. Dec. 13 for the College of Arts and Sciences, excluding the School of Management and Department of Psychology and Philosophy.

At 1 p.m. Dec. 13, the College of Professional Education and Department of Psychology and Philosophy will hold its commencement.

At 4 p.m. Dec. 13, the commencement will be held for the School of Management, excluding Fashion and Textiles.

At 10 a.m. Dec. 14, the ceremony will be held for the College of Nursing and the Program in Fashion and Textiles.

At 2 p.m. Dec. 14, the College of Health Sciences will hold its commencement.
