A 30-year-old Denton woman was robbed recently by a salesman in the 900 block of Cleveland Street, police said.
Orlando Hinojosa, spokesman for Denton police, said the woman was approached at her apartment by a magazine salesman going door to door.
“She was going to buy some magazines and changed her mind,” Hinojosa said.
When she changed her mind, the salesman grabbed the cash from her hand — less than $100 — and took off, police said.
No arrests have been made.
100 block of Duchess Drive — A 29-year-old man was arrested after allegedly assaulting his 27-year-old girlfriend Wednesday, police said.
Police said the woman reported she was hit in the face with a jacket that had several items inside a pocket, leaving a knot on her forehead.
Police said responding officers noted her injuries, and the man was charged with assault causing bodily injury family violence.
Reports show he was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for no driver’s license.
100 block of North Hook Street — A heater coil from a 1971 Chevrolet Nova was taken during vehicle restoration Tuesday morning, Denton County Sheriff’s Office reports show.
