Blotter: Phone falling out of bra leads to arrests

A man and a woman were arrested Saturday after a cellphone that had been reported stolen fell from her bra as police were interviewing her, according to a police report.

The owner of the phone told police that a man and woman took her phone after she left it unattended inside a gas station located near the intersection of Fort Worth Drive and Interstate 35E, the report stated.

Police were questioning witnesses when the female suspect bent over and the cellphone fell out of her bra and onto the floor, according to the report.

Police believe the male suspect allegedly took the phone and gave it to the female suspect to hide, the report stated.

Both suspects were placed under arrest and charged with theft of property and the case was closed by arrest.

100 block of Fry Street — A woman reported to police that her daughter and her daughter’s boyfriend got into a physical altercation Saturday morning, according to a police report.

The daughter reported having trouble breathing and told police she had been punched in the stomach, the report stated.

She told police she and her boyfriend were arguing, but then it turned physical, according to the police report.

The couple admitted the argument turned physical and they both were acting aggressively toward each other, the report stated.

The boyfriend was arrested on a warrant from the Dallas Police Department and the woman was transported to a nearby hospital for any possible injuries.
