Blotter: Police arrest woman on DWI charge after wreck

A 31-year-old woman accused of damaging a Sanger man’s vehicle and then fleeing the scene was arrested in Krum.

Police said the 37-year-old man had some vehicle damage while traveling along the 8000 block of Interstate 35 on Sunday. Denton police found the woman shortly afterward and arrested her. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and with causing an accident involving damage to a vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

2500 block of Quail Ridge Drive — A Denton man accused of ripping hair extensions out of his girlfriend’s daughter’s head was arrested on a charge of assault causing bodily injury/family violence and for outstanding warrants.

The mother called police to report that her 23-year-old boyfriend held down her daughter’s arms — causing bruises — while pulling out her hair extensions shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday.

The boyfriend was still on scene when police arrived and was arrested for assault and on warrants out of North Richland Hills.

1700 block of Teasley Lane — A game of poker apparently led to a bar brawl Sunday night.

Police responded to reports that two men were fighting in an area bar and found that the 30-year-old man accused of being the aggressor appeared to be significantly intoxicated.

He was placed under arrest for public intoxication, records show.

Aubrey police assisted one citizen and responded to one narcotics call, one ordinance violation, 19 traffic calls, one traffic complaint and four suspicious activity calls.

Bartonville police assisted two agencies and responded to one missing person report, one noise complaint, one traffic call and one animal complaint.

Corinth police assisted 11 agencies and two motorists and responded to two medical calls, two burglary calls, one burglary report, four disturbance calls, one complaint of hunters, one intoxicated person, one noise complaint, three roadblocks, two suspicious activity calls, one theft report, 43 traffic calls, three welfare concerns, 11 traffic transport incidents and 16 animal complaints.

Double Oak firefighters responded to two structure fires. Double Oak police responded to eight traffic calls.

Flower Mound responded to one structure fire and one traffic call.

Hickory Creek police assisted six agencies and responded to four traffic transport incidents, one welfare concern, 11 traffic calls, one theft, one roadblock, one reckless driver, one domestic disturbance and two burglaries in progress.

Justin firefighters responded to one structure fire, one traffic transport incident and three medical calls. Justin police assisted one agency, one motorist and responded to two disturbance calls, one structure fire, one suspicious activity call, one theft, five traffic calls and one traffic transport incident.

Krum firefighters responded to two medical calls and assisted one citizen. Krum police assisted two agencies, three motorists and responded to one medical call, four suspicious activity calls, one theft, 11 traffic calls and one welfare concern.

Lake Cities firefighters responded to 13 medical calls, one electrical fire, one structure fire, five traffic transport incidents and assisted three citizens.

Little Elm firefighters responded to eight medical calls, one electrical fire, one traffic transport incident and one carbon monoxide or hazardous materials call. Little Elm police assisted one agency and responded to two assaults, one burglary, one carbon monoxide or hazardous materials call, four domestic disturbance calls, one verbal disturbance call, two structure fires, one report of gunshots, one harassment report, one intoxicated person, six noise complaints, three ordinance violations, one reckless driver, one roadblock, seven medical calls, one terroristic threat, three traffic calls, one report of a person with a gun, one welfare concern, one intoxicated person, three traffic transport incidents, one animal bite, 12 animal complaints and assisted three motorists.

Lewisville police made 30 arrests.

Northeast police assisted four agencies, two motorists and responded to one report of gunshots, two ordinance violations, one reckless driver, three suspicious vehicles, 42 traffic calls, one traffic transport incident and one animal complaint.

Northlake police assisted four agencies, one motorist and responded to one assault, one burglary, one domestic disturbance, one roadblock, one suspicious activity call, 26 traffic calls and one traffic transport incident.

Oak Point firefighters responded to one traffic transport incident. Oak Point police responded to two ordinance violations, five traffic calls, one welfare concern, three suspicious activity calls, one theft report, five traffic calls, one animal complaint and one welfare concern.

Ponder firefighters responded to one medical call. Ponder police assisted two agencies, one motorist and responded to one reckless driver, one theft report and 10 traffic calls.

Pilot Point firefighters responded to two medical calls. Pilot Point police responded to one assault, one disturbance, one fight, one noise complaint, one reckless driver, one suspicious activity call and two traffic calls.

Roanoke firefighters responded to one structure fire.

Sanger firefighters responded to one assault or sexual assault, one carbon monoxide or hazardous materials call, two medical calls and one traffic transport incident. Sanger police assisted one agency and one motorist and responded to three reckless drivers, two roadblocks, two suspicious activity calls, two welfare concerns, one harassment report, one forgery/fraud call, one auto theft, one assault or sexual assault, two traffic transport incidents and 10 animal complaints.

Trophy Club firefighters assisted one citizen and responded to three medical calls. Trophy Club police assisted three agencies and responded to two criminal mischief reports, one harassment report, one noise complaint, one roadblock, four suspicious activity calls, 22 traffic calls, one medical call, two welfare concerns and one animal complaint.
