A man believed to have been driving drunk early Sunday was arrested by Denton police, who also found four grams of marijuana in the man’s vehicle.

The man was stopped by police on West Oak Street for several traffic violations. When the officer made contact with the driver, they smelled marijuana and alcohol, according to a police report.

A field sobriety test determined that the man was intoxicated, and a search of his vehicle led police to the marijuana.

The driver was booked on charges of DWI and possession of marijuana, the police report said.
