Icy weather is expected to return and continue through Tuesday night in Denton and across North Texas, according to the National Weather Service.
The Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook advisory for several counties across Texas including Denton County because there’s a chance for freezing rain late tonight through Tuesday.
Officials say there’s a chance for very light ice accumulations on roads and bridges.
Temperatures are expected to peak at 37 degrees today and drop to 27 degrees, creating a 30 percent chance for a wintry mix tonight.
On Tuesday, there’s a 40 percent chance of more wintry weather throughout the day, ending with a 20 percent chance Tuesday night.
