Blotter: Police make narcotic arrest

A wide turn landed a 22-year-old man in jail on multiple narcotics violations.

The man was stopped at a gas station located at Interstate 35E and Teasley Lane after he made a wide right turn in the 1700 block of Sam Bass Road, according to police. Police said the man had an open alcohol container in the passenger side of the car, and he was arrested on two narcotics violations.

He was charged with possession of a controlled substance/penalty group 1, less than one gram, and possession of a controlled substance/penalty group 3, less than 28 grams.

From 7 a.m. Wednesday to 7 a.m. Thursday:

Double Oak police responded to four traffic calls.

Flower Mound police responded to one traffic call.

Hickory Creek police assisted one agency and responded to one intoxicated person, 10 traffic calls and two traffic transport incidents.

Highland Village police responded to one traffic call.

Justin firefighters responded to one medical call. Justin police responded to eight traffic calls and one suspicious vehicle.

Krum firefighters responded to one medical call and assisted one citizen. Krum police responded to one medical call and one disturbance call.

Lake Cities firefighters responded to six medical calls.

Lewisville police made 10 arrests.

Little Elm firefighters assisted one citizen and responded to five medical calls and three traffic transport incidents. Little Elm police assisted three agencies and responded to one Child Protective Services referral, two disturbance calls, one missing person, one stab/gunshot, three suspicious activity calls, one theft, 16 traffic calls, one animal complaint and two traffic transport incidents.

Northeast police assisted one agency and responded to two theft reports, 16 traffic calls and two traffic transport incidents.

Northlake police responded to one ordinance violation and nine traffic calls.

Oak Point firefighters responded to two medical calls. Oak Point police assisted one agency and responded to one criminal mischief report, three ordinance violations, four traffic calls and two medical calls.

Ponder police responded to one domestic disturbance.

Pilot Point firefighters responded to two medical calls. Pilot Point police responded to one disturbance call and three traffic calls.

Sanger firefighters responded to three medical calls. Sanger police assisted one agency and responded to two disturbance calls, seven traffic calls and one animal complaint.

The Colony firefighters responded to one smoke scare and one medical call.

Trophy Club police responded to one forgery/fraud report, one missing person, two reckless drivers, six traffic calls and three animal complaints.
