Denton police were looking for a rental car thief Monday.
Officers responded to a call from a woman in the 900 block of West Hickory Street claiming that a car she rented between Feb. 4 and Feb. 11 had been borrowed by another person.
The person who borrowed the car, however, failed to return the vehicle to either the woman or the rental car location.
100 block of Duchess Drive — A Denton officer was dispatched to a residence for a domestic disturbance.
The victim reported that her boyfriend had punched her in the face. She did not want to press charges for the assault and just wanted to go back to Lewisville. A report was completed.
1700 block of North Elm Street — Denton police were dispatched to a call regarding criminal mischief. The caller reported that someone had broken a window with a rock.
