Blotter: Officers make arrest after call on suspicious person

A check on a suspicious person led to an arrest Tuesday night.

Denton police officers were dispatched to a store in the 2300 block of Colorado Boulevard for a suspicious person.

The officer made contact with the person in question in the parking lot.

An investigation revealed the suspicious person had marijuana and pills in her vehicle, according to a police report.

The woman was arrested and taken to the Denton city jail without incident.

1100 block of Johnson Street — Denton police responded to a theft call when a man caught another man siphoning gas from his vehicle.

9000 block of Teasley Lane — Denton police were called when a woman found a hidden camera in one of her computer speakers.

Corinth police assisted four agencies and responded to three domestic disturbances and a report of harassment.

Double Oak police responded to five traffic calls and four vacation watch calls.

Hickory Creek police assisted two motorists and responded to a report of disorderly conduct and a traffic call.

Justin firefighters responded to a medical call. Justin police assisted an agency and responded to a burglary, two traffic calls and two alarms.

Krum firefighters responded to two medical calls and a traffic transport incident. Krum police responded to a disturbance, a vehicle complaint and 15 traffic calls.

Lake Cities firefighters assisted a citizen and responded to six medical calls, an inspection and a smoke investigation.

Little Elm firefighters responded to a medical call, an odor investigation and a traffic transport incident. Little Elm police assisted an agency and responded to a domestic disturbance and a prisoner transfer.

Northeast police assisted one agency and responded to a domestic disturbance, two reports of theft and eight traffic calls.

Northlake police assisted two agencies and a motorist and responded to a burglary, a narcotics call and 11 traffic calls.

Oak Point police responded to a report of criminal trespass, a report of gunshots heard, two ordinance violations, a prowler, a report of suspicious activity and seven traffic calls.

Ponder police responded to a report of a suspicious person, vehicle or activity and a traffic call.

Pilot Point firefighters assisted a citizen. Pilot Point police responded to a burglary, a disturbance, a report of a suspicious vehicle and three traffic calls.

Sanger firefighters responded to two medical calls, an illegal burn and a traffic transport incident. Sanger police assisted five agencies and responded to four traffic calls, a report of a suspicious person, vehicle or activity, a traffic transport incident and two alarms.

Trophy Club police responded to two Child Protective Service referrals, an ordinance violation and three reports of an open door.
