Blotter: Police looking for man after report of assault

Denton police are looking for a man who reportedly hit his girlfriend and stole from her Sunday evening, according to reports.

An officer was dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Duchess Drive in reference to an assault that had just occurred. The victim reported she and her boyfriend began arguing, and during the argument he hit her in the mouth, busting her lip.

Also during the argument, he took two of her cellphones and the title to her vehicle, the report said.

Photographs were taken of the scene and the victim’s injuries and submitted into evidence and an offense report was completed.

1000 block of Fannin Street — Denton police were dispatched regarding an assault.

The caller reported that his roommate came in and told him he had just been choked and held at knife point, according to the report.

The suspect lived in the apartment below the victim.

After an investigation, the officer found probable cause that an offense indeed happened and the suspect was arrested, according to police records.

Aubrey firefighters responded to nine medical calls, an odor investigation, two traffic transport incidents and two vehicle unlocks. Aubrey police assisted six agencies and responded to a disturbance, a domestic disturbance, a report of loose livestock, a noise complaint, a report of a suspicious vehicle, a theft, 10 traffic calls and an animal complaint.

Bartonville police assisted two agencies and responded to four traffic calls, a traffic transport incident, an animal complaint and a report of animal cruelty.

Corinth police assisted four agencies and responded to two abandoned vehicles and an auto theft.

Double Oak firefighters responded to two medical calls and a carbon monoxide alarm. Double Oak police assisted two agencies and responded to a noise complaint and an open door.

Hickory Creek police assisted two agencies and responded to a structure fire and a road blockage hazard.

Justin firefighters responded to five medical calls, an unknown fire, a vehicle fire and a traffic transport incident. Justin police assisted an agency and responded to a disturbance and a vehicle fire.

Krum firefighters responded to six medical calls, a traffic transport incident and a vehicle unlock. Krum police assisted five agencies and responded to a noise complaint and an open door.

Lake Cities firefighters responded to 15 medical calls, two fire alarms, a structure fire, six traffic transport incidents and a vehicle unlock.

Little Elm firefighters responded to 11 medical calls, a fire alarm, a grass fire, a smoke investigation, a structure fire, two traffic transport incidents and a vehicle unlock. Little Elm police assisted five agencies and responded to two child custody calls and 10 alarms.

Northeast police assisted two agencies and responded to a theft and two disturbances.

Northlake police assisted three agencies and responded to two reckless drivers and a noise complaint.

Oak Point firefighters responded to three medical calls. Oak Point police responded to a fireworks complaint and an open door.

Pilot Point firefighters responded to three medical calls and a vehicle unlock. Pilot Point police assisted an agency and responded to a domestic disturbance and two building checks.

Ponder firefighters responded to four medical calls. Ponder police assisted an agency and responded to a 911 hang-up and six traffic calls.

Sanger firefighters responded to two medical calls. Sanger police assisted five agencies and responded to two ordinance violations and three reckless drivers.

Trophy Club firefighters responded to three medical calls. Trophy Club police responded to a noise complaint and three ordinance violations.
