An accident involving three vehicles — including a tractor-trailer truck — shut down northbound lanes of Interstate 35E at the Corinth exit for a few hours Monday.
The wreck occurred around 10:45 a.m. and lanes were reopened a little after the noon hour Monday.
According to Corinth police Lt. Carrie West, several units from the Corinth police and the Lake Cities Fire Department worked the accident. Details about the cause of the accident were not immediately available. Officials initially believed that two tractor-trailer trucks were involved, but the second truck was apparently broken down at the scene and was not involved in the accident, officials said.
Three people were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, West said.
