Blotter: House party leads to two arrests

A small house party in the 200 block of Folly Beach Road went awry after midnight Wednesday.

Two people, a 22-year-old from Lake Dallas and a 19-year-old from Denton County, were charged with aggravated robbery after being accused of physically assaulting and stealing cash from someone else at the party, Denton County sheriff’s reports show.

Deputies were called to the scene at 12:33 a.m. and began an investigation.

One additional suspect remains at large, officials said.

5300 block of East McKinney Street — A 29-year-old Denton woman reported to police that her ex-boyfriend sneaked in through her bedroom window recently and assaulted her. According to reports, the ex entered without permission. Police were dispatched at 9:56 p.m.

12800 block of Jackson Road — Denton County sheriff’s deputies responded to a break-in and copper theft at a cell tower. According to reports, someone gained entry into the tower and took copper wire Tuesday afternoon. The missing copper is valued at more than $1,500, officials said.

From 7 a.m. Tuesday to 7 a.m. Wednesday:

Denton County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers handled 777 service and officer-initiated calls and booked 43 people into Denton County Jail.

Denton police responded to 268 service and officer-initiated calls and posted 24 reports online.

Denton firefighters responded to 27 medical calls, two vehicle accidents and two gas leaks.

Argyle firefighters responded to four medical calls. Argyle police responded to one ordinance violation, 21 traffic calls and one criminal trespass call.

Aubrey firefighters responded to one assault, four medical calls and three traffic accidents. Aubrey police assisted two agencies and responded to one suspicious activity call, six traffic calls and one traffic complaint.

Bartonville police responded to three traffic calls and assisted one agency.

Corinth police assisted two agencies and six motorists and responded to one domestic disturbance, one criminal mischief call, one fight, one harassment call, 26 traffic calls, four traffic complaints, three welfare concerns, four traffic accidents and two suspicious activity calls.

Double Oak firefighters responded to one medical call. Double Oak police assisted one agency and responded to 19 traffic calls and two suspicious activity calls.

Flower Mound police responded to one ordinance violation.

Hickory Creek police assisted one agency and responded to one disturbance call, one harassment call, one reckless driver, 14 traffic calls, one traffic complaint, one welfare concern and one traffic accident.

Justin firefighters responded to one medical call. Justin police responded to six traffic calls.

Krum firefighters responded to two traffic calls and three medical calls. Krum police assisted two agencies and responded to one disturbance call, one suspicious activity call, one traffic call and one welfare concern.

Lake Cities firefighters responded to one assault or sexual assault, four medical calls and two traffic accidents.

Lewisville police made eight arrests.

Little Elm firefighters assisted one citizen and responded to two medical calls and two traffic accidents. Little Elm police assisted two agencies and responded to two burglaries, one criminal mischief call, one criminal trespass call, one disturbance, one forgery report, one intoxicated person, three noise complaints, four ordinance violations, six suspicious activity calls, two thefts, seven traffic calls, two traffic accidents and five animal complaints.

Northeast police assisted two agencies and responded to one domestic disturbance, one suspicious activity call, eight traffic calls and two traffic accidents.

Northlake police assisted two agencies and responded to one suspicious person call, 15 traffic calls and one welfare concern.

Oak Point firefighters assisted one citizen and responded to one domestic disturbance and two medical calls. Oak Point police responded to one medical call, two disturbance calls, one noise complaint, one ordinance violation, two suspicious activity calls and seven traffic calls.

Ponder firefighters responded to one medical call and one traffic accident. Ponder police responded to one traffic accident.

Pilot Point firefighters responded to two medical calls and one traffic accident. Pilot Point police responded to two traffic calls, one traffic complaint and two animal complaints.

Sanger firefighters responded to one grass fire and two medical calls. Sanger police assisted one motorist and responded to one disturbance call, two harassment calls, one reckless boater, four suspicious activity calls, four traffic calls, one animal complaint and one traffic accident.

The Colony firefighters responded to two medical calls and one accident.

Trophy Club firefighters assisted one citizen. Trophy Club police assisted one agency and responded to one criminal mischief call, one welfare concern, three animal complaints, one missing person, one noise complaint, two ordinance violations and four traffic calls.
