An Aubrey man was killed late Thursday afternoon while riding his motorcycle home from work.

Seth Miller, 48, was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 380 in Little Elm when another vehicle in a turn lane went around a large truck and pulled out in front of Miller, causing him to lay down his bike and skid across the highway, officials said.

Miller suffered multiple injuries and died at the scene of the accident, according to Troy Taylor, chief death investigator for the county.

Miller was wearing a helmet and had 20 years experience riding, according to officials.

β€œHe worked in Prosper and was not far away from home,” Taylor said.

An investigation is underway by the Little Elm Police Department.
