Officials released the identity of the driver Sunday after two people were killed in a motorcycle accident on southbound Interstate 35E in Lewisville late Saturday.

The driver was identified as Bradley Duane Kindheart, 44, of Lewisville, according to Troy Taylor, chief death investigator in Denton County. The identity of the female passenger was not released pending notification of next of kin.

Lewisville police Lt. Dan Rochelle said the accident involved two people riding a motorcycle in the 1800 block of South I-35E.

The initial call came in at about 8:53 p.m, Rochelle said. The accident was near the State Highway 121 Business and Corporate Drive overpasses.

All southbound interstate traffic was redirected to 121 Business for several hours during the investigation, 35Express construction project officials said in a news release.
