Blotter: Police respond to domestic disturbance call

Denton officers responded to a Sunday evening domestic disturbance call involving a woman who alleged that a man had choked her and took money out of her hand at a local hotel, according to a police report.

The person who placed the call from the hotel in the 1200 block of North Interstate 35E told police that the assailant had ripped a telephone out of the wall when the woman attempted to call for help.

The caller also advised that the assailant had left the area.

Other reports

700 block of Bolivar Street — A Denton officer was dispatched to an assault that occurred at a residence.

The caller reported that he was choked by his roommate’s father. The assault allegedly occurred because the caller was being evicted, a police report stated.

Aubrey firefighters responded to 13 medical calls, a carbon monoxide alarm, a fire alarm, a grass fire, a structure fire, a traffic call, a vehicle unlock and a water main break. Aubrey police assisted five agencies and responded to an animal complaint and an abandoned vehicle.

Bartonville police assisted two agencies and responded to a reckless driver and a traffic call.

Corinth police assisted eight agencies and responded to a domestic disturbance and a reckless driver.

Double Oak police responded to an alarm fire and assisted a citizen. Double Oak police responded to an open door, two reports of suspicious activity, two thefts and 21 traffic calls.

Hickory Creek police assisted four agencies and responded to two disturbances and 47 traffic calls.

Justin firefighters responded to eight medical calls and a traffic call. Justin police assisted three agencies and responded to a noise complaint.

Krum firefighters responded to four medical calls, a vehicle unlock and a water main break. Krum police assisted two agencies and responded to a criminal trespass and an assault.

Lake Cities firefighters responded to 19 medical calls, a carbon monoxide alarm, a fire alarm, a grass fire, a structure fire, a near drowning, three traffic calls and three vehicle unlocks.

Little Elm firefighters responded to 15 medical calls, a grass fire, a structure fire, a near drowning, six traffic calls and a vehicle unlock. Little Elm police assisted six agencies and responded to 10 animal complaints.

Northeast police assisted three agencies and responded to a reckless driver, an animal bite, two alarms, a report of suspicious activity, a theft, 90 traffic calls and a water main break.

Northlake police assisted two agencies and responded to an open door and 108 traffic calls.

Oak Point firefighters responded to three medical calls. Oak Point police responded to an animal complaint.

Pilot Point firefighters responded to five medical calls, a grass fire and a vehicle unlock. Pilot Point police assisted two agencies and responded to an auto theft and an open door.

Ponder firefighters responded to two medical calls and a vehicle fire. Ponder police assisted three boaters and two agencies and responded to a disturbance, a reckless driver, a report of suspicious activity and five traffic calls.

Sanger firefighters responded to nine medical calls. Sanger police assisted nine agencies and responded to an intoxicated person and a report of loose livestock.

Trophy Club firefighters responded to a medical call, an unknown fire and a carbon monoxide alarm. Trophy Club police assisted an agency and responded to two thefts and nine animal complaints.
