9 to 11 a.m. — Outdoor cooking demonstration at the Johnson Branch Unit of Ray Roberts Lake State Park, on FM3002, 7 miles east of I-35. Meet at the Lost Pines Amphitheater to learn about building the best cooking fire and preparing a meal with simple ingredients. Free with regular park entrance fee of $7 for ages 13 and older.
