A Denton man who recovered his car over the weekend was not satisfied with a local impound lot, leading to a harassment report.

A Denton police officer was contacted by an employee of the impound lot in the 600 block of South Mayhill Road. The employee said she was being harassed on the company phone and fax line by a man who had his vehicle towed.

The man had gotten his car back, but the tow company had not provided him with a receipt. The man was calling repeatedly to get a receipt, but the tow company was refusing, according to a police report.

The man had called about 100 times during the night and had sent a fax with a picture of a llama saying “I want a receipt.”
